Sure! Here's my attempt:
Five years had passed since Captain Awesome defeated Black Shadow in the final race of the F-Zero Grand Prix. The galaxy had moved on, but for those involved, the memories lingered.
Rick Wheeler, once a biologically enhanced police officer known as Zoda's clone, had retired from racing and returned to his true passion - law enforcement. He rose through the ranks quickly and was now the chief of the Galactic Police Force.
Jody Summer, the former Galaxy Mobile Platoon leader and fan-favorite racer, had also moved on. She became the voice for the GPF's PR team, appeasing the media, and keeping citizens informed as to the ever-increasing dangers of space travel.
Falcon remained untouchable as ever. He was still the king of the F-Zero circuit, with no one even coming close to challenging him for his throne. He had, however, reached a point where he was bored. Racing was easy, predictable, and lacked any excitement. Falcon needed an opponent to push him to excel, someone who shared the same passion and drive.
Little did he know, his wish would soon be granted. The F-Zero circuits were challenged by a mysterious newcomer, known only as Shade. No one knew Shade's origins or motives, but one thing was clear--the racer was talented. So good in fact, that Falcon finally found his match on the track.
The Falcon and Shade rivalry ignited a wave of excitement and publicity around the sport, and fans were ecstatic. They got to see the legendary Captain Awesome dethroned by a newcomer who was quickly becoming a fan favorite.
Their final race against each other would go down in F-Zero history - both racers at their absolute best. It was neck and neck, overtakes so fast it was hard to tell who was in the lead. Ultimately Shade prevailed, just barely, crossing the finish a mere second ahead of Falcon.
The newfound rivalry shook up the F-Zero circuit in the best way possible, invigorating fans and racers alike. The growing rivalry helped stop GPF against efforts on criminal organizations exploiting F-Zero races for their own gains. From that day forth, Shade became the brightest star in F-Zero circles, leaving Captain Awesome finally seated on his throne.
NOTE:
This one is not too bad.
Was hoping for it to go more like the F-Zero GX story but it still works as a reboot/long awaited new F-ZERO intro.
