Title: Golden Obsession
FADE IN:
INT. MONK’S CAFÉ - DAY
Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer are sitting in their usual booth.
Jerry: (pointing at a newspaper) Have you guys seen this? Goldeneye for Nintendo 64 is the newest craze in gaming.
Elaine: I’ve heard about it. What’s the big deal?
Jerry: The graphics, the gameplay. It’s revolutionary. Trust me, we have to play it.
Kramer: (grinning) Oh, I’ve played it already. It’s amazing.
George: (excitedly) Are you serious? You have it?
Kramer: (nodding) Yeah, I got it from Newman. He’s one of the best players in our building.
Jerry: (sarcastically) That’s reassuring.
Elaine: (eagerly) So when can we play it?
Kramer: (smirking) How about tonight? I’ve got the game and four controllers.
George: (grinning) Yes! I’m in.
Jerry: (nodding) Count me in too.
Elaine: (smiling) This is going to be fun!
FADE TO:
INT. JERRY’S APARTMENT - NIGHT
The gang is sitting on Jerry’s couch with their eyes glued to the TV screen. The sound of gunfire and explosions fills the room.
Kramer: (shouting) Watch out, Jerry! Behind you!
Jerry: (frustratedly) I know, I know. Stop telling me what to do!
George: (excitedly) Yes! I just killed somebody!
Elaine: (smiling) You’re on fire, George.
Hours later, the gang has completely immersed themselves in the game. They have ordered multiple pizzas and have been playing non-stop.
Jerry: (stretching) Okay, I think it’s time for a break.
Kramer: (whining) What? No way! We can’t stop now.
Elaine: (nodding) Yeah, I’m on a winning streak. I don’t want to lose my momentum.
George: (smiling) Come on, Jerry. One more round.
Jerry: (sighing) Fine. One more game and then we call it a night.
FADE TO:
INT. JERRY’S APARTMENT - MUCH LATER
The sun is rising and the room is filled with empty pizza boxes and soda cans. The gang’s eyes are bloodshot and they’re leaning on each other for support.
Elaine: (yawning) I can’t do this anymore. I’m too tired.
Kramer: (breathlessly) Me neither. My fingers hurt.
George: (moaning) My eyes feel like they’re going to pop out of my head.
Jerry: (laughing) We’ve been playing for 10 hours straight. I think it’s safe to say we’re officially obsessed.
Elaine: (smiling) It was worth it though. This game is addictive.
Kramer: (grinning) We should play it again sometime.
George: (nodding) Definitely. I’m already planning on how to beat you all next time.
Jerry: (smiling) You’re all welcome to come back anytime. Just no more all-nighters, okay?
The gang starts cleaning up the mess and heads home, already planning their next Goldeneye marathon.
FADE OUT.
THE END.
